Installing TonesInTune by running setup.exe might be blocked by the message: "A newer version of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable has been detected on the machine". Work-around: install missing prerequisites manually. Some of the following prerequisites might be missing:
- .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 (CP) - relevant for Excel 2007 only, accessible at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=119637.
- .NET Framework 4 - accessible at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=182805.
- Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (x86) - accessible at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=158917.
- Resizing or drag-and-dropping TonesInTune events with the mouse may lead to unpredictable behaviour. Work-around: don't activate events with the mouse, and deactivate any accidentally mouse-activated events by pressing <Esc>.
- Running several instances of Excel simultaneously may confuse TonesInTune. Work-around: run only a single instance of Excel when using TonesInTune.
